Madeline is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian (RD/LD) since 2003, and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) who works as a clinical dietitian. Madeline's experiences include corporate, patient, medical staff, and college course development and presentations, but focus is on 
clinical care and specialzing in diabetes and chronic kidney disease.

4 Macronutrients:

1. Protein (Amino Acids)/ 2. Fat (Fatty Acids); 3. Vegetables (Fiber); 4.Carbohydrates (Glucose, Fructose, Lactose)

Example Meal:. . . Protein: Peanut butter, Vegetable: carrots, Carbohydrate (carb), Grain: Bread.

General Meal Goals: Eat 4 times a day, lean protein 1st, followed by many cups of low carb vegetables often raw, and carbs with fiber more often fruit.
